a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity, in all matters relating to the reproductive system and its functions and processes through out lifespan.
It is shown that on a global scale, reproductive health is still difficult to attain; with 20% of women and 16% of men having reproductive and sexual related ill-health. One of the major reproductive problems reported in the community clinics is
Infertility. This can either be Primary or Secondary infertility
Within the clinical setting, the psycho-social, cultural and/or religious perspective of infertility are often overlooked or ignored. Yet many couples are plagued by these factors and they do not know how to address or confront them. For decades, a lot of attention and research have been focused on the medical component of the infertility problem for right and obvious reasons. Recent studies however have shown that integrative and holistic approach to infertility management yield better results.
